The centre's soleobjective is to create an enabling environment to it undertake research inunexplored domains and to disseminate information by implementing variousprograms to raise awareness among professionals, scholars, and the generalpublic about Intellectual Property Rights. The centre contributesfor a deeper understanding of the theoretical, practical, evolving and ever-changingaspects of intellectual property rights highlighting the deeper understandingof how intellectual property frameworks interact with traditional knowledgesystems, cultural heritage, and indigenous practices. It focuses onemerging trends and challenges in the field of intellectual property, such asthe impact of digital technologies, open access movements, and globalization,and strives to explore the implications of ever-changing dynamics of intellectualproperty on innovation, creativity, technology transfer, competition, andeconomic development.
