HPNLU Library functions as the primary Information Resource Centre and Repository of printed and Electronic Resources to fulfill the teaching and research activities at the University. The Library has rich collection of books and journals in the field of Law, Economics, Political Science, Management, Sociology, Psychology etc. The Periodical section includes the Supreme Court Case, All India Reporter, Criminal Law Journal, Harvard Law Review, and Judgement Today. Columbia Law Review , Contribution to Indian Sociology, International Journal of Constitutional Law, Oxford Journal of Legal Studies, The American Journal of Comparative Law, The British Yearbook of International Law, Journal of Intellectual Property Rights , Himachal Law Reporter, and the Cambridge Law Journal. The Reference section includes the Law Reports, Bare Acts, Commentaries, Proceedings, Legislative & constitutional material, Encyclopedias, and Dictionaries etc. The library is facilitating access to e-Resources namely: WestLaw, Hein Online, Manupatra, Scc Online, LexisNexis, JSTOR, Taxmann , Kluwer Arbitration, REEDLaw and PTC, which are accessible anywhere (within campus as well as outside the campus also) on any electronic platform through Knimbus e-library platform.(Click here to visit e-Library Portal) The library operations are automated using ‘KOHA’ Library Management Software. The Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) which is on public domain enables users to search documents in possession of the library.
