ABOUT THE CLUB The Rotaract Club of HPNLU, chartered in October 2022, is a vibrant and service-oriented student body dedicated to fostering leadership, compassion, and community engagement within the university. Since its inception, the Club has worked under the able and enthusiastic leadership of Dr. Hari Chand as Faculty Co-ordinator, consistently aligning its efforts with the values of HPNLU and the spirit of Rotary, across diverse domains—ranging from awareness and public health outreach to environmental and welfare initiatives. Throughout the year, the Club undertakes a wide array of projects, including its annual stationery donation drive, health check-up camps, blood donation initiatives, winter and festive cloth donation drives, environmental programmes, and thematic awareness campaigns, all aimed at creating meaningful impact both on campus and in the wider community. Guided by a commitment to “Service Above Self,” the Club continues to build a culture of empathy, responsibility, and purposeful action among the students of HPNLU. OBJECTIVES AND GOALS · To carry out impactful projects that respond to community needs in education, health, welfare, and environmental sustainability. · To offer members opportunities to develop organisational, managerial, and communication skills through active participation in club initiatives. · To enhance learning, mentorship, and exposure by collaborating with Rotary, district Rotaract bodies, and fellow Rotaract clubs. · To nurture a culture of empathy, ethical conduct, and civic responsibility within the university community. · To represent HPNLU in district-level Rotaract events and strengthen the university’s contribution beyond the campus. · To conceptualise and execute projects that ensure sustained and meaningful long-term community impact.
